South Africa – in a moment of South Africa thought it was going forward and like to be out of lockdown, it went back straight to second wave of Covid-19 pandemic. When will South Africa be out of lockdown?
The country will only be out of lockdown soon as the vaccine is available. While the country is waiting for the vaccine, fellow South Africans needs to adhere themselves to health protocols.
So long there’s no vaccine, the government made risk adjustment strategies levels based on daily recorded infections and fatalities. This helped the economy to recover and other people going back to work in full capacity.
Alcohol, cigarettes, traveling and other family gatherings in terms of restrictions things are eased. Now Nelson Mandela Bay saw its self in hard restrictions such ones around alcohol sales and movement.
Now that things regarding Covid-19 cases and fatalities that lead to second wave, the government is now looking into things to save the less impacted 4 remaining provinces. The country cannot survive in hard levels even if it may be a point going to level 3.
New lockdown restrictions proposed
Longer curfew hours
Ealier closure of tarvens restaurants
Tight restrictions on gatherings
Though it’s unlikely that South Africa will see itself on hard lockdown, if things gets out of control in terms of seeing 1 million cases as speculation, it will go back to high lockdown level.
Things to be done to avoid such
Wear a cloth mask all the time when you are in public.
Keeping 1.5 meters away from the next person, especially in public.
Sanitize your hands more often especially in public.
Extras
Don’t just touch things in public and skip sanitizing your hands.
Stop visiting people especially in large crowds, things are not the same as before. The Covid-19 is now living amongst us and it needs to be scared of as far as it is deadly.
Limit you visits at pubs, tarvens and gatherings. Buy liquor and drink it at home, no one will take you as in usually person by so doing.
Stop sharing one 700ml of alcohol, own yours to avoid multi – touch.
Do not share one cigarette, that the lose straw is actually for one person.
When is the next family meeting?
Reporters are waiting for confirmation of the next national address for the next coming days or weeks. This is because the resurgence of Covid-19 cases on daily basis are a concern.
Alcohol taking a third ban could be severely affected as booze industry experts are rallying against the government to prevent the third ban. South Africans should just look out for the unexpected from the officials though.
