The drama in the Mpisane/Mkhize household has started all over again. Just recently Andile Mpisane’s father came out in public to say robbers were attempting to assassinate him. That came after MaMkhize’s Durban mansion was robbed.
Here we are trying to recover from that news, then BOOM, Sithelo opens a case against her baby daddy Andile Mpisane and his mom. The mother of three served her former lover with summons in the past week saying that his family kidnapped her daughter, Flo after they refuse to return her back.
The young mother who made waves for buying a new body is requesting an interim court order declaring that her three-year-old daughter was abducted “unlawfully and unconstitutionally”. She also demands that her daughter be returned to her immediately.
It doesn’t stop there, sis also wants an injunction to prevent Mpisane, 21, and Mkhize from removing her children without her written consent.
And there was something shocking in the summons, the police minister Bheki Cele, who is close to Mkhize’s family, was named as the third respondent. However, she makes no allegations against him in her 24-page affidavit and the minister was unavailable for comment immediately.
This summons was filed on Wednesday, 11 January. Sithelo also revealed that what pains her most is that she isn’t allowed to see her daughter since she was taken from her in March of last year.
Shozi also accuses her ex-boyfriend and his mother of forcing both her children to undergo DNA tests to prove he is their father in court papers.
“As if that was not enough, I was also summonsed to undergo the DNA test. This was done to confirm if I am indeed the biological mother … I obliged,” she said.
“I had no qualms undergoing the DNA test. I was faithful and loyal to [Mpisane] during our relationship. What I objected to was the manner in which they approached it — it is unlawful to abduct the child and force us to undergo the DNA tests.”
In the same court papers, she narrates that the drama began when she received a phone call from Mkhize on March 4 last year asking her to bring her grandchildren to visit at her home in La Lucia because “she was missing them”.
They agreed, according to Shozi, that the children, who were dropped off in their pyjamas, would spend the night and be picked up the next morning.
While her youngest child, was returned to her the same night, MaMkhize told Sithelo the next day that her eldest child was not feeling well and that she would care for her until she recovered.
She then failed to disclose the nature of the alleged illness and refused to provide the DJ with proof that she was taken to a doctor.
“For over 10 months now, there has been no further communication [on her illness] … It’s clear that [Mpisane and Mkhize] had ulterior motives — which is to abduct [her],” said Andile’s baby mama in her affidavit.

Going further she said they were about to reach a co-parenting agreement with the Mpisane’s family but she quickly came to her senses.
“I cannot bring myself to negotiate a settlement concerning my child and her abductors. I would have been amenable to entertain any settlement negotiations with [Mpisane] if the child is returned home where she should be,” Sithelo said.
Obviously, the MKhize/Mpisane family wouldn’t take this one lying down. They quickly got their lawyer Ntsako Godi to respond to the allegations. He denied they had kidnapped the child and said they would be opposing Sithelo’s application.
“We will defend this application and we are confident of our case. This is a media attention-seeking stunt. The child was never abducted and has at all times since birth been raised in the house of MaMkhize and Andile,” he said.
“She’s bitter and jealous that Andile has found happiness elsewhere,” Godi said.
