President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation yesterday and the country still remain in level 1 of lockdown. The National State of Disaster is extended till 15 December 2020.
Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma published a new gazette in line with what president Cyril said yesterday evening regarding the new restrictions going forth. The restrictions are currently effective as from 00:00 am 12 November 2020.
Partial reopening of borders
18 land borders which were partially opened are now fully opened but 34 borders are still closed.
Traveling to South Africa and from South Africa is allowed pending strict health protocols of not more than 72 hours date when abstained. Those who will fail to submit medical test saying they are negative, they will have to be on a self quarantine for 14 days at their own costs.

Cogta minister is expected to work with DoH and DoT on international travel to ensure those who will be traveling positively with Covid-19 are not allowed to enter South Africa.
Liquor sales
People are allowed to drink off site only during trading hours.
For those will be drinking on site can drink but but remember the national curfew.
Liqour stores will now sell alcohol from Monday to Saturday and in hours of trading.
Any person who doesn’t practice these restrictions will face a fine or imprisonment that doesn’t exceed 6 months.
