Kaizer Chiefs were just unfortunate in the January transfer window after signing one new player in DRC striker Christian Saile.
And that’s according to Amakhosi coach Arthur Zwane who revealed that the club had plans to sign more than just one player to ease pressure on the current squad.
Zwane said those plans failed to materialise as they could only bring in Saile and sign Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United on a pre-contract.
And as soon as Chiefs realised that they were not going to get some deals over the line, they moved on and focused on what was at their disposal.

“Actually, we were just unfortunate. We were trying to bring in a few players but it didn’t materialise,” Zwane told reporters on Monday.
“So, we had to move on and focus on what we have in terms of playing personnel,” added Zwane
