Recipe Tips
- Peanut butter and honey can be melted in the microwave. Add to a microwave-safe bowl and heat in 30-second increments until melted enough to stir together.
- Choose your favorite O-shaped cereal! There are many varieties out there. Cheerios, Nature’s Path, and One Degree Organics. I used regular Cheerios for this recipe.
- This wil also work with rice Krispies, puffed wheat, shreddies, Chex, or any other cereal with small shapes.
- Any style of nut butter or seed butter will work for this recipe. Peanut butter is usually a popular option. Almond butter, sunflower seed butter, or even tahini!
- Honey adds sweetness and glues things together. You can swap it for corn syrup, maple syrup, or rice malt syrup.
- I’ve also made this recipe into ball shapes. Just grab a spoonful of the mixture and form it into a ball with your hands.
