President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation on Monday 1st February 2021, said even Non-SA citizens will also receive the Covid-19 vaccines including those with legal documents.
South Africa – President Cyril Ramaphosa, the vaccine will be done in public than in secret corners.
In the reports, Covid-19 vaccine set to arrive in South Africa on the new day of February 2021 on Monday. The address from the presidency came on the day of rival.
“We aim to make the vaccine available to all adults living in South Africa, regardless of their citizenship or residence status. We will be putting in place measures to deal with the challenge of undocumented migrants so that, as with all other people, we can properly record and track their vaccination history,” he said.
During the address he added that people won’t be vaccinated against their will. Though it is dangerous not to do so because the virus can cause death, so it is advisable for people to make the right decision still.
“Any rumours to this effect are both false and dangerous”
The country still remain in level 3 of lockdown but few restrictions are at ease.

- The sale of liquor by licensed premises for off-site consumption is permitted from 10h00 to 18h00, from Mondays to Thursdays. excluding Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
The sale of liquor by licensed premises for on-site consumption is permitted, from 10h00 to 22h00.
The transportation of liquor is also permitted.
- Gatherings
Gatherings at faith-based institutions, are permitted but limited to 50 persons or less for indoor venues and 100 persons or less for outdoor venues. If the venue is too small to hold the prescribed number of persons observing a distance of at least one and a half metres from each other, then not more than 50% of the capacity of the venue may be used.
- Beaches, lakes, dams, public swimming pools are allowed to open subjected to health protocols.
- Night clubs remain closed to the public.
