South African forward Jaisen Clifford is wanted by a host of clubs abroad, including Dino Ndlovu’s club Buluspor in Turkey.
In letters seen by the iDiski Times, Clifford is also wanted by Moldova sides such as Sfintul Gheorghe, who are willing to offer him a six-month contract.
Another is Balti, who, just like Gheorghe, are offering a player a short-term until the end of the season.
But the Turkish side Buluspor Kulubu, a club that recently signed Ndlovu, unlike others, have invited Clifford for a two-month trial to be assessed before they can decide if they are happy with him or not.
The other club is FC Samtredia, who are from Georgia, who are lying third in the Erovnuli Liga 2 table.
Clifford, who was born in Trichardt in Mpumalanga and has not played in the DStv Premiership, previously played in Lithuania along with Kaizer Chiefs winger Kgaogelo Sekgota at Stumbras FC
Together they helped the club to its first major trophy – beating Zalgiris in the domestic cup. Clifford came on in the second half of that while Sekgota did not feature as he was on the bench.
Clifford has also seen his career take him to Condeixa in Portugal and previously played in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with Cape Town All Stars in the 2020/21 season.
Recently he was also playing abroad for FK Van in Armenia, scoring three goals in 16 appearances.
The 26-year-old, who was with Bidvest Wits and SuperSport United development respectively, however, is interested in returning home for six months because Boluspor, in signing Ndlovu, their foreign spot is closed and he prefers to go there.
“Buluspor where Dino just signed and they came to me to say ‘Look, we have signed another foreign player – Dino and so there is no space in the foreign quota for this season’,” Clifford explained to iDiski Times.
“But they will give me an 18 month deal, half of this season and for next season.

“But this half of the season, I will need to find a club that will take me on loan, and that is the condition. That’s where I’m at right now.”
