Botswana Premier League champions Jwaneng Galaxy are close to tying down head coach Morena Ramoreboli to a new deal ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Ramoreboli was heavily linked with a move to DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune United after leading Galaxy to back-to-back league and the Orange FA Cup triumphs, but the deal fell through in the final talking stages.
This publication understands that the 43-year-old coach and Babina Noko could not come to an agreement over the club’s mandate to remain in the top-four next term.

The Free State-born mentor had two seasons with Galaxy, achieving a few historic feat along the way in the CAF Champions League. They beat Orlando Pirates in the preliminary round and shocked Moroccan giants Wydad AC 1-0 in the group stages away in Marrakech in November last year.
With his current deal set to come to an end on June 30, iDiski Times understands that Ramoreboli is closing in on a new contract with Galaxy ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
The Botswana giants are fighting tooth and nail to keep the South African tactician, who will not be short of potential suitors.
