Orlando Pirates midfielder Miguel Timm has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until at least 2026.
Timm’s new one-year deal includes the option of a further season, as the highly-rated star is rewarded for his impressive performance with the Soweto giants.
The Buccaneers confirmed the news of the talented midfielder on Thursday morning on their official website.
Timm’s contract was set to expire at the end of this time, but the Soweto giants decided to trigger their option to extend his stay.
He joined Jose Riveiro’s side his in July 2022 from Marumo Gallants. Timm has made 63 appearances across all competitions for Bucs and won four domestic cups.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm that Miguel Timm has signed a new deal,” said the club in a statement.
“The 32-year-old midfielder’s current contract was due to expire at the end of the month, but he has now put pen to paper to extend his stay at the club, keeping him on board the Bucs ship for the 2024/25 campaign, including an option for an additional season.
“Everyone at Orlando Pirates is delighted with the news and we wish Timm the very best for the coming season.”Timm previously represented teams such as Mpumalanga Black Aces, Arizona United, Chippa United, Maritzburg United, and the now-defunct Bidvest Wits.
