Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that the kick-off time for their DStv Premiership clash against Royal AM has changed.
The match was scheduled to start at 20:00 on Saturday, 16 September at FNB Stadium, but the kick-off was moved forward to 17:30.
Amakhosi had struggled to beat Royal AM in the first official three matches after Thwihli Thwahla had bought the status of Bloemfontein Celtic ahead of the 2021/22 season, losing all three.
But last campaign, they picked up a 2-0 win at home and also beat them 2-1 after extra-time in the Nedbank Cup.
Both teams have won their last two DStv Premiership games ahead of the international break, with Chiefs beating AmaZulu and Stellenbosch in the league before holding Mamelodi Sundowns to a 1-1 draw in the MTN8 semi-final first leg, while Royal AM defeated Ts Galaxy 1-0 and Chippa United 3-2.
League action already resumes on Friday, when Moroka Swallows host Richards Bay, who are unbeaten in 19 successive games.
Due to involvement of Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United and Sekhukhune United in the CAF inter-club competitions this weekend, there are only two other league games apart from Chiefs vs Royal AM, with Golden Arrows hosting Stellenbosch FC on Saturday, while AmaZulu welcome Cape Town City on Sunday.
However, league action already continues on Tuesday and Wednesday, when all teams are back in action.
